Whitsunday Christian College is situated in the heart of the Whitsundays, with unparalleled access to one of the world's richest ecosystems; the Great Barrier Reef. Adventure and recreation opportunities abound, from excursions to Daydream Island, camps to Magnetic Island and other mainland beach and hinterland locations, encouraging a deeper appreciation for environmental stewardship.

 

Snorkelling, diving and exploring the reef helps our students learn first hand about the world around them in a unique natural environment for learning.

Our Secondary students also have opportunities to go fishing, outrigging, sailing or stand up paddle boarding during our Friday afternoon sport and recreation sessions. 

 

Students' travel time is kept to a minimum as we are only a 5-15 minute bus trip from Jubilee Pocket, Cannonvale and surrounding areas, allowing more time for engagement in recreational and sporting activities.
