Bus Services

Free School Travel Eligibility

 

Situated in the heart of the Whitsundays, it is only a 5-15 minute bus service from Jubilee Pocket, Cannonvale and surrounding areas.

We support Whitsunday Transit as the government-funded bus service and encourage you to consider their service when planning your school transport requirements. Transfers are made from Shute Harbour, Jubilee Pocket, Airlie Beach and Cannonvale.

Our Bus Service

 

The College bus is a private service and only available to Whitsunday Christian College Students servicing the areas including Proserpine-Strathdicke-Cannon Valley and Bowen. As a private service, families will not be eligible for the transport assistance scheme for school bus transport provided by the Government.

Whitsunday Transit offer two school services, Bus 16 which is available from Jubilee Pocket and picks up all stops to the College including Airlie Beach and Cannonvale. Bus 5 services Sugarloaf and Paluma Road.

Whitsunday Christian College has two buses, one which services Bowen and can pick up between Bowen and our College. Our other bus services Proserpine and can again pick up between Proserpine and our College.
